Rock Candy experiment

This weekend we started making homemade Rock Candy. We used a National Geographic kit that included about half the supplies and we had to have the other half here. It was easy enough to do and now we wait for about a week to see if it worked and to record the results. It was nice because Serona was able to be involved.

Peace,
Tenn

We got ours at Target, "National Geographic Rock Candy Lab" but sometimes they come and go there, here they have a special national geographic section. I can't seem to find our particular one online, here are some others I found by froggling "rock candy lab"

  5. Have you ever tried making homemade lollipops? I work at a company that sells candy flavorings - check out www.lorannoils.com. They have loads of kid-friendly flavors & cute re-usable molds too.
